Ahfad University for Women is proud to share this publication, developed through the collaborative efforts between the Ahfad Trauma Center at Ahfad University for Women, and the Crisis Psychology Center at the University of Bergen in collaboration with prominent African and international experts and researchers. This work reflects the value of global collaboration in advancing research and practice. The book addresses mental health interventions for refugees and host communities in low-income settings, offering evidence-based strategies for cultural empowerment in humanitarian contexts, while providing important directions for policymakers and mental health practitioners.
